Megan Sturley BSc (HONS) Physiotherapy
Megan has been a qualified and chartered Physiotherapist for over 15 years. She is the Clinical Director and Senior Physiotherapist at both Sturcross Medical Ltd as well as Private Health Professionals.
Megan holds a Masters in Sports and Exercises Medicine and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She is also a member of The Health Professionals Council and British Gymnastics. Her research interest has been hydration in professional rugby players and its effects on high level sports performance.
Megan’s clinical interests include Acupuncture, manual manipulation and Pilates. She is a fully qualified Pilates instructor on both mat workouts and Pilates machines. She uses manual manipulation and exercise programmes in a wide range of chronic and acute disorders including back pain, knee problems, ACL injuries, neck and shoulder issues as well as whiplash. She has been an expert witness predominantly for whiplash injuries and concussion.

- Tonga International rugby team physiotherapist, including Rugby world cup 2015 Tonga V NZ, Tonga V Argentina, Tonga V Namibia. Autumn internationals, including France, Wales and Romania.
- London Irish Rugby senior physiotherapist team
- Arsenal FC Academy, Chelsea FC Academy and Charlton Athletic FC
- British Gymnastics
- NHS senior physiotherapist orthopaedics and outpatients, London.
- Dance UK physiotherapist.
Megan also works for a number of insurance company’s including AXA/PPP.
Outside her clinic time Megan spends time with her friends and running mates at Chatty Paces Running Club, singing with her friend Katie Cotton and playing with her two young boys. She is keen on traveling to new places, seeing new cultures and experiencing what the world has to offer.
Megan takes part each year with her husband in the North Devon ANOB half marathon, ran the 2016 Barnstable marathon and will run both in the coming year. At present she is training for a 7 km river swim.
